Super Early SpookyTimeJingles Reveal!

I'm really in the mood for Christmas!  This is a new painting I did for Spookytimejingles and it will list at midnight on 11/12.  It's called Snow Angels - can you see why?  Not just angels, but lots of family, dogs, cats and even a few rabbits.  Painted with professional acrylics on Gessobord and framed in a beautiful antique style gold brushed wood frame.  Come visit me at http://www.spookytimejingles.com/ on 11/13 and see some close-ups!

Ellen, the Thanksgiving Angel, and Henry, her cat - New Art Doll on eBay!

Can it be that Thanksgiving is just a matter of a few weeks away?

Ellen and Henry are one of a kind cloth art dolls made of my own design.  Deep rich, autumnal colors, and lots of whimsical vintage trims.  Ellen is a large 27" and can sit independently or be hung via a cord sewn thru her back.  She wears a very stunning top hat - a bit steampunk in her own folksie way.

You will find her here for a limited time:

Have a wonderful week!

Lisa

Happy All Hallows, My Pretties!

This amazing photo was graciously sent to me by a client/friend from the West Coast who not only is a witch art collector but is also a bit of a green witch herself.  Well, at least during October when she casts her spells on the crowds at a local haunted pumpkin farm!  Her costume and make-up are incredibly detailed.  I think I have some new inspiration for a painting or two.

Thank you sooooo much for making my day with this treat!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!

Nibble Fest Art Contest October 2009, Trick or Treaters!

Well, I'm still partying and have a few more blogs yet to visit after Fanciful Twist's wonderful Halloween extravaganza.  However I did finish this cute painting today for eBay's Nibble Fest Art Contest since October's theme is Halloween.  Starts at 9:00 p.m. eastern time for 99 cents.  It has cute trick or treaters, black cats, an owl and some spooky looking ghosts.  Lots of fun if you like Halloween folk art.  Have a great evening!

Spookytimejingles Reveal!!!

It's almost time!  The reveal occurs at midnight but I'm always happy to give a sneak peek to my friends, so here goes...

I have a painting entitled "Mermaids 1 - Pirates 0" - this is a FUN painting but since I have to keep my photos to a certain size, they don't do it justice at all.

Some Halloween Ornies

and some Christmas Ornies!

Come visit us at midnight eastern time, http://www.spookytimejingles.com/, for some fresh new art.  And a surprise guest artist who I cannot reveal to you because it's a secret and I don't know who he is anyway.  Did I say 'he'?  I didn't mean that - but he's really super!  Here's your hint:

Have a great night!
